Comprehensive draft legislation for promoting electromobility in Greece is due to be tabled in parliament by the end of June, so as to give the Greek electrical vehicle market a dynamic start, Environment and Energy Minister Kostis Hatzidakis said on Friday, addressing an event on Greece’s energy future organized by voria.gr at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, ANA reports.
According to the government’s plan, one-third of public transport buses that will be acquired for Athens and Thessaloniki are to be electric, with Hatzidakis announcing plans to visit the Netherlands within the next few days for this specific issue.
