Study: Glass buildings a top cause of human-related death among birds in Greece

Glass buildings and other transparent structures are the most common human-related cause of death in Greece among birds, which are unable to recognize them as an obstacle and smash into them at high speed, ANA reports.

The conclusion was presented in a recent book on the topic written by the biologist and member of the Greek Ornithological Society Dimitris Bousbouras, who also outlined prevention methods and called for legislation to ensure they are adopted.
