Greek government approves wind farm project in Greek island of Evia

The Interministerial Commission for Strategic Investments, in a teleconference meeting on Friday, approved an investment project “Wind farms Evia 407.4MW” by Ellaktor SA and EDP Renewables SA, ANA reports.

The project, with a budget of 489 million euros, is expected to create 182 new job positions and have a total annual energy production of 1,591GWh in central and south Evia. More specifically, Ellaktor and EDP Renewables will construct 8 wind farms, four in north-central Evia and four in south Evia.
