The Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP) announced a 1.1-billion-euro program to upgrade its network in East Attica Region, CEO Harry Sachinis and Deputy CEO Anastasios Tossios said on Thursday, according to ANA.
“In the coming 20 years, EYDAP will be moving ahead significantly,” Sachinis said, providing an outline of the company’s plans. “Following the ‘Clean Saronic Gulf’ project, our target now is ‘Clean Southern Euboean Gulf’,” he added.
Construction is moving along on the Glyka Nera sewage system in East Attica (52 pct complete) while constructing sewage networks in Pallini, Rafina, and Pikermi are expected to begin within the year, he said.
