The protected nature reserves throughout Greece but also information about the mountain shelters, information centers, museums, monuments and archeological sites, ski resorts, wetlands, mountains, and thermal baths can be found on the new website www.visitgreeknature.gr that seeks to promote Greece’s protected areas as tourist destinations, ANA reports.
The website was created by the Goulandris Museum of Natural History and the Hellenic Center for Habitats – Wetlands, with funding from the Green Fund, while a relevant presentation was made by the representative of the museum, Lena Hatziiordanou, during an online conference on the Internet and new methods of showcasing and promoting protected areas.
