Competition for the creation of a Sustainable Development Observatory for the Dodecanese

The Chamber of Dodecanese announced an open electronic competition for the creation of a Sustainable Development Observatory for the Dodecanese.

Specifically, the subject of the contract is the creation of a Sustainable Development Observatory with the aim of producing specialized information that will assist the private and public sectors in critical decisions, while at the same time providing the entire value chain with reliable knowledge.

The Chamber of Dodecanese, through the operation of the Observatory, seeks to play a vital role in supporting the local economy, strengthening tourism entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable development in the Dodecanese.

The award criterion is the most economically advantageous offer, based on the best quality-price ratio. The estimated value of the contract is 190,000 euros including VAT. The deadline for submitting offers has been set for Thursday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m. The opening of offers will take place on Friday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m.

For valid participation in the contract award process, participating economic operators must submit a participation guarantee letter of 2% of the budgeted value before VAT of 24%, amounting to 3,064.50 euros. Natural or legal persons and, in the case of associations of economic operators, their members, as detailed in the Declaration, have the right to participate in the procedure for concluding this contract.

The submitted offers are valid and bind the economic operators for a period of 12 months from the day following the date of the tender. Alternative offers are not allowed. The duration of the contract has been set at 36 months from the date of its signature.

The tender is being carried out within the framework of Subproject 3, “Provision of Services for the Creation of a Sustainable Development Observatory of the Dodecanese” of the Project entitled “Development and enrichment of the digital services provided to the members of the Dodecanese Chamber” which has been included in the Operational Programme “South Aegean 2021 – 2027” and is being implemented with the co-financing of Greece and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project has been included in the Public Investment Programme 2024.
