Ithaca ensures uninterrupted water supply to residents and visitors, thanks to the funding of 80,000 euros approved by the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Policy for the maintenance and smooth operation of the island’s desalination plants.
This financial support is a key intervention to cover the increased needs during the summer months, ensuring smooth water supply and improving everyday life on the island.
The Municipality of Ithaca expresses its warm thanks to Minister Vasilis Kikilias, Deputy Minister Ioannis Ghikas and Secretary General Manolis Koutoulakis for their immediate response and continuous support for the island’s needs.
“We continue with responsibility and consistency our efforts to strengthen infrastructure and improve the quality of life on our island,” said the Mayor of Ithaca, Mr. Stanitsas.
