Pyrgos is preparing to host one of the most dynamic and innovative environmental events in Ilia, with the arrival of the 3rd Alfeios Eco Festival 2025, scheduled for September 19 and 20 on the hill of Eparchio. The organization is undertaken by the Social Cooperative Enterprise of Collective and Social Benefit “Digital Leap Co., Ltd.” and promises to bring sustainable tourism, sustainability, environmental awareness and conscious social action to the forefront.
In particular, the festival has as its main objective to mobilize businesses, organizations, institutions and associations of Ilia and the wider region, creating a space for collective action for the protection of the environment. Through a variety of activities, such as workshops, presentations, interactive events and hands-on experiences, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about rational resource management practices, discover innovative solutions for sustainability and enhance their environmental awareness. The event also aims to promote a culture of sustainable development, which links the protection of the natural environment with the social and economic empowerment of local communities.
