After knocking out Anett Kontaveit in the Australian open, Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari continued her success by disposing of 43rd ranked French player Alize Cornet in 3 sets (7-5, 4-6, 6-1) to advance to the last 32 of the grand slam.
The 21-year-old tennis player could have the chance to go even further after she will be facing Croatian Lucic-Baroni, who knocked out favourite Agnieszka Radwanska.
