“I like challenges, difficulties and risks,” he said adding that he is not scared. What I admire and love in Greece is friendship, Turkish actor Burak Hakki said in an interview with the Athens Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
Hakki is going to hold a role in a Greek play that will premiere on March 9 at a downtown Athens theatre.
Hakki became popular playing emotional Kenan in the hit series “Kismet.”
“I always want to progress, to learn new things, to test myself. Playing in the theatre of another country, speaking a foreign language in front of tens of people is the most difficult thing I have ever tried to do,” he stated.
“I highly appreciate the theatre and the people of the theatre,” he underlined adding that he is very happy he has the opportunity to participate in a theatre play as less than five theatres are now operating in Turkey due to the political developments.
The full interview is available in Greek at ANA’s website.
