No one has the right to decide alone on matters regarding tourism, Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios said on Wednesday, adding that stakeholders also need to submit their views ahead of policy-making decisions, CNA reports.
Perdios was speaking during a ceremony, in Nicosia, after assuming his official duties as Cyprus’ first Deputy Minister of Tourism. Addressing the personnel working so far for the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO), and which will now form part of the new Deputy Ministry, he congratulated them for everything they attained in tourism, adding that the growth and last years’ statistics “speak for themselves.
