Athens Airport’s passenger traffic increased by 10.8% during March 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, reaching 2.22 million passengers.
According to AIA data, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded 2024 levels by 2.1% and 14.4%, respectively.
Overall, during the first three months of the year, the airport’s traffic reached 5.81 million passengers, recording an increase of 11.4%.
Both domestic and international passenger traffic increased by 3.1% and 15%, respectively.
Flights
The number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first three months of 2025 amounted to 50,651, recording an increase of 9.3% compared to 2024. Domestic flights experienced a minimal decrease of 0.5%, while international flights recorded an increase of 16.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
