Expedia Group is the latest Online Travel Agent (OTA) to integrate Ryanair flights into its platforms, significantly expanding the options for travelers in the US and Europe.
The partnership, which was initially announced in July 2024, is now fully implemented, with Ryanair flights – covering over 230 destinations – being available both through Expedia.com and through other brands of the group.
The integration of Ryanair into Expedia platforms allows users to book either single flights or as part of holiday packages. At the same time, the ability to access MyRyanair accounts and critical flight updates is provided without the need for additional customer identification procedures.
Expedia Group Chief Commercial Officer Greg Schulze called the deal a “major milestone” in enhancing the company’s customer travel choices. “The integration of Ryanair’s extensive network, with its unique routes in Europe, offers our travelers increased choice and greater value,” he said.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer Dara Brady said: “We are delighted to announce that Ryanair flights are now available to Expedia Group customers, with full price transparency and instant access to their booking. We look forward to serving Expedia travelers on Ryanair’s low-cost network this summer and beyond.”
This partnership reinforces Ryanair’s strategy to expand distribution through select OTAs under conditions that ensure control over customer relationships and price transparency.
