Juneyao Airlines is increasing its flight frequency on the Shanghai-Athens route for 2025, with the airline expanding its presence in the Greek capital.
Specifically, Juneyao increased the weekly flight frequency to 4, one year after the launch of the route from “Pu Dong” airport to “El. Venizelos”, upgrading Athens’ air connectivity with the Chinese market.
The flights began on April 13 and will be operated 4 times a week with a 787-9 aircraft.
It is estimated that direct Shanghai-Athens flights brought 50,000 Chinese visitors to the Greek capital in 2024.
