Ryanair announced today, Tuesday 26 August, a strategic partnership with Booking Holdings, which owns leading global travel brands such as Booking.com, KAYAK, Priceline and Agoda.
Based on the agreement, travelers booking through Booking Holdings platforms will now have access to all flights on Ryanair’s network, which includes more than 235 destinations, with full price transparency. In addition, customers will gain access to their personal myRyanair account without the need to verify their details, thus ensuring immediate information on any changes and flight announcements.
The agreement includes Booking Holdings on Ryanair’s list of “Approved OTA” partners, which already includes names such as loveholidays, lastminute, Expedia, TUI and Kiwi. The aim is to protect consumers and provide greater choice at lower prices.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dara Brady, said:
“The new partnership with Booking Holdings is great news for travellers, as they will enjoy full price transparency and instant notifications from Ryanair. It demonstrates how Approved OTAs can work with Ryanair to the benefit of consumers, offering them more choice at lower fares.”
Todd Henrich, Senior Vice President Corporate Development at Booking Holdings, said:
“We are delighted with this partnership, which combines Ryanair’s low prices and extensive network with the technology, convenience and flexibility of our brands. Our aim is to ensure a reliable and seamless booking experience for travellers worldwide.”
