As stated by Lorenzo Lagorio, Country Manager Italy & Greece at easyJet, “the new connection will offer Greek travellers greater convenience and travel options, while boosting the local economy by bringing more visitors and supporting tourism in the region”.

In parallel, the airline is launching its Black Friday 2025 offers, with discounts of up to 10% for travel between 5 December 2025 and 22 March 2026. The offers are valid until Tuesday 2 December 2025, at 1am.

9% profit increase in 2025 and positive outlook for 2026
For the financial year 2025, easyJet reports a profit increase of 9%, with easyJet holidays to achieve the target ahead of schedule and to grow to £450m pre-tax (PBT) by the 2030 financial year.

easyJet holidays revenue rose by 27% to £1.4bn, with a 20% increase in customers driven by a 5% increase in average selling price to £698. Total holiday spend rose by 26% mainly driven by a 20% increase in customers to over 3m, increasing UK market share from 7% to 10%.

The airline’s total ASK capacity for 2026 is forecast to grow by around 7%, while average sector length is set to increase by around 4%, reflecting a gradual shift towards longer-haul routes.

Meanwhile, the package holiday sector continues to drive growth: customers easyJet holidays are expected to grow by up to 15%, from a base of 3.1 million travellers.

Booking figures for 2026 confirm sustained demand: The first quarter has already sold 81%, up 2 percentage points year-on-year. The second quarter has reached 26%, up 1 percentage point. For the first half, easyJet holidays has sold 80% of its available packages, confirming the momentum of tourism demand for the coming year.

On the cost front, the overall CASK index is expected to record modest inflationary increases. However, improvements in operational and cost efficiency, combined with favourable fuel prices, are expected to offset some of the inflationary pressures, limiting the final burden.

Kenton Jarvis, easyJet’s CEO, commented on the results: “Since we set our medium-term targets in 2023, we have made significant progress, delivering a 46% improvement in pre-tax profits, adding 9% this year through the continued, successful execution of our strategy.

Today, easyJet holidays embarks on an even more ambitious target after achieving its target earlier.

Our focus on investing in operations and improving the customer experience, delivering the warmest welcome in the travel sector, has led to improved punctuality, increased customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies this year.

Having recently celebrated our 30th anniversary, I am proud of what easyJet has achieved. Very few airlines stay as close to their roots as easyJet – making travel easy and affordable while making a significant contribution to economic growth through increased connectivity, consumer choice and jobs.

We are well placed to seize the significant opportunities ahead, and we are confident that we will achieve our medium-term target of achieving pre-tax profits (PBT) of over £1 billion.”
