In an announcement, SKY express stated that despite the particularly difficult conditions that arose yesterday due to the issue in the Athens FIR, it proceeded with the cancellation of only two flights.
The rest of the flight schedule was operated as normal, with adjustments to departure times, the company noted.
According to the airline, the day was extremely demanding; however, the companys operational mechanism responded immediately and with swift decisions, giving absolute priority to passenger safety and minimizing inconvenience.
The announcement also states that SKY express will continue to make every possible effort to ensure the safe and reliable service of all those who choose the airline for their travels.
