Elafonisos is making a dynamic entry into cruise tourism, constantly gaining its share of the international travel market, ANA reports.
A typical case is Elixir Cruises, which organizes trips to unique destinations and has included the island in its plans for this year. In the presentation of the destination, the company stated that “tiny Elafonisos is a dream island, with sandhills and turquoise tropical waters,” underlining that “this is a magical beach, a protected Natura habitat.”
It also described Pavlopetri as “one of the oldest submerged cities in the world, where swimming or even diving in the Unesco Bronze Age city is an impressive addition to the journal of any true traveler.”
