The municipality of Kythira announced the start of a collaboration with Five Senses Consulting, internationally recognized for its expertise in the development of cruise ports and destinations worldwide.
The collaboration aims at the comprehensive and targeted promotion of Kythira as an attractive boutique cruise destination, with an emphasis on authenticity, sustainability, and high-quality experiences for visitors. The project includes strategic planning, international representation, and promotional actions, so that the island can be dynamically integrated into selected luxury and thematic cruise itineraries.
Cruising is experiencing continuous growth worldwide, with Greece establishing itself as a leading destination in the Mediterranean. It is time for the destination of Kythera, with a strategic plan and an active presence in international decision-making centers, to claim its share in this dynamically evolving landscape, promoting a model of balanced tourism development that respects the place and strengthens the local community.
