Tourist traffic in Chania is particularly high today, as three large cruise ships docked at the port of Souda at the same time, carrying a total of more than 9,000 passengers.
More specifically:
The Costa Deliziosa carried 2,690 visitors,
the Sun Princess 4,286 passengers,
and the Celebrity Infinity 2,179 people.
The total number of arrivals amounted to 9,155 passengers, who are expected to give a significant boost to the local market and fill the city of Chania with life.
The triple arrival confirms Souda’s strategic role as one of the most dynamically developing cruise destinations in the Mediterranean, while strengthening the image of Crete as a leading tourist destination.
