Star Clippers: New Destinations for Summer 2027 – Greek Islands Remain a Core Focus

Star Clippers is significantly expanding its program for the summer of 2027, adding dozens of new destinations across the Mediterranean. The new sailing cruise itineraries are already open for bookings.

According to the company owner Eric Krafft, “24 ports are completely new to us and demonstrate the capabilities offered by our fleet.” Overall, the program of Star Clippers’ three large sailing ships – with capacities of 166 and 227 passengers – is enriched with 30 new port calls along the coasts of Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Albania, and Turkey, a move also linked to the company’s high rate of returning customers.

Among the new destinations making their debut in the program are Menton on the French Riviera, Cefal? in Sicily, Carloforte in Sardinia, Kastellorizo in Greece, and Kekova on the Turkish Riviera.

New Embarkation Port: Antalya
The 2027 summer program covers a wide range of trips, from short “introductory” cruises to 12-day itineraries. Embarkation ports remain Venice, Civitavecchia (Rome), Piraeus, and Nice, while a new addition is Antalya, further strengthening the role of the Eastern Mediterranean in the company’s network.

Despite the new additions, Star Clippers’ classic routes remain a stable part of the program, with sailing cruises along the Amalfi Coast, in Croatia, and across the Greek islands continuing to form a core pillar of its offerings.

The new cruises are already available for booking, while travel agencies can get an initial overview via Infox. The full and detailed program for summer 2027 is expected to be presented in January 2026.
