MSC Cruises is further strengthening its presence in the Eastern Mediterranean for summer 2026 by adding two new destinations to its itineraries: Syros in the Cyclades and Marmaris in Turkey.
According to the companys plan, the new Eastern Mediterranean routes will be operated by MSC Lirica and MSC Divina, offering seven-day cruises combining Greek islands, Turkey, Montenegro, and Italy.
MSC Lirica will sail from Venice (Marghera) starting April 4, including calls at Kotor in Montenegro, Syros, Ancona, as well as an overnight stay in Mykonos, boosting the islands tourism potential.
Similarly, MSC Divina will depart from Civitavecchia (Rome) starting April 24, with stops in Mykonos, Kusadasi, Marmaris, and Naples.
The addition of Syros to MSC Cruises itineraries fits into the companys broader strategy of diversifying Greek cruise destinations, emphasizing ports with cultural significance and an authentic urban environment, while Marmaris further strengthens the companys Turkish presence in the region.
