Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai stated that the three most important trends that will affect the global travel industry in 2016 are the following:
-The variation in the exchange rate of currencies which influences a large percentage of travelers from around the world
-Oil prices, which will continue to affect the cost of transport but also all other services.
-The issue of security, one of the biggest concerns of the tourism industry.
