Congratulatory messages on Greece's bicentennial continue to arrive from all over the planet

Over the past two days, well-wishing messages from leaders of several countries arrived in Greece for its 200th anniversary of the War for Independence from the Ottomans (1821), ANA reports.

On Thursday, congratulations came in from Bulgaria’s Foreign Affairs minister, Germany’s president, ambassador in Athens, and prime minister of North Rhine-Westfalia/CDU leader, Slovenia’s president, India’s Foreign Affairs ministry and its Foreign minister, Britain’s prime minister, Italy’s president, Ukraine’s president, the Netherlands’ prime minister, Serbia’s president, Australia’s prime minister, the patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Ireland’s president, Norway’s prime minister, France’s president, the US secretary of state, and the Financial Mechanism Office (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway).
