The elections for the appointment of new members of the board of directors at the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels have been announced.
The elections will take place on October 29, 30 and 31. The term of office of the current Chamber Administration has been set for January 15, 2026. The elections will select the new members of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels for the period from 16/1/2026 to 15/1/2029.
The elections will be held via the internet with electronic voting. The vote will be held electronically through the “ZEUS Digital Ballot” system, which has been developed and technologically supported by the Hellenic State Company under the name “National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures S.A. – EDYTE S.A.”
All hotels and campsites whose special operating mark has not been definitively revoked by the day before the elections, or are operating legally and provided that by the time the electoral rolls are finalized, they have paid their contributions to the Chamber by 31 December 2024. By decision of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it was determined that hotels and campsites that do not meet the above condition, but have settled their debts to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also have the right to vote and be elected. of their contributions and pay the agreed installments on time.
In all businesses operating either individually or in any corporate form, the right to vote is exercised by the natural person in whose name the valid special operating mark or the latest notification of operation of the hotel or campsite has been issued.
Those who wish to run for the Board of Directors must submit the relevant declaration of candidacy to the Chamber, no later than 15:00 on September 12, 2025. Also, by the above date and time, they must have paid or settled their contributions to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry up to 31/12/2024.
