Greek Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis referred to the new Kalamata motorway that is delivered on Friday, a motorway of high standards, speaking on Friday to Athens Macedonian News Agency radio “Praktoreio 104.9FM”.
It is a motorway that reduces significantly the distance between Corinth and Kalamata and Sparti and the traffic will be conducted with safety, said Spirtzis adding that his ministry and the government aim in the next two years to proceed in works that exceed 4 bln euros: “This is our effort and despite problems with a series of issues we explore new sources of funding,” he concluded.
