Greece’s Environment and Energy Minister Giorgos Stathakis, in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Friday, predicted that many companies will express an interest in acquiring Public Power Corporation (PPC) lignite units.
He underlined that developments will lead to the creation of two to three competitive alternatives to PPC, but the public corporation will remain a strong pillar of the country’s energy system.
