Everyone is starting to discount that Greece will have completed the programme review in the summer 2018 and will tap the markets, Deputy Economy and Development Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas on Tuesday said in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency’s radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM, ANA reports.
There is great investment interest, he noted, as reforms have made significant progress. Pitsiorlas explained that important investments in tourism, industry, health, energy and transport were carried out in 2017 and added: “The investment in former Helliniko airport will be the largest urban redevelopment project across Europe. According to the schedule, the project will start in 2018,” he said.
