Greek government on Monday unveiled a new digital platform that will allow public-sector services to freely exchange official documents with an electronic signature, which ministers said will usher the country into the digital age and economy.
The new system was developed with funds from the Public Investments Programme, at a low cost while bringing multiple benefits for citizens, foreign investors and visitors.
Digital services, including electronic signatures, already adopted at Greece’s digital policy ministry had slashed the time and cost of transactions.
