Draft laws for hydrocarbon concessions tabled in Greek Parliament this week

The relevant environment and energy ministry on Wednesday tabled four draft laws in Greek Parliament to ratify a same-number of concessions for hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in sea regions off Crete and in the Ionian Sea, naftemporiki.gr reports.

The draft bills deal with the ratification of concessions under negotiation since 2019, with the Greek side referring to prospective investments by international energy giants of up to 140 million euros.
