Subsidy up to €200,000 for “Extroversion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”

The pre-publication of the action “Extroversion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”, with a total public expenditure of 200 million euros, which will be implemented with resources from the NSRF Program “Competitiveness 2021-2027”, was announced by the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.

Existing medium, small, and very small enterprises will be able to submit a proposal for the action to subsidize their investment plans with a percentage of up to 50% and a maximum subsidy limit of 200 thousand euros.

In particular, the action aims to encourage investment projects that aim at the exploitation and development of modern technologies, the upgrading of the products produced and/or services provided, and in general the activities of existing SMEs with the aim of improving the competitiveness and extroversion of enterprises, their integration into international value chains and the strengthening of the international presence of their products, through their participation in trade fairs organized outside Greek territory in the EU and in third countries.

The budget of each investment project starts from 80,000 euros.

The subsidized budget of the investment project cannot exceed the highest turnover achieved in one of the three (or fewer if the enterprise does not have three) management periods of the year preceding the submission of the funding application.

The percentage of the grant may receive a graduated increase of up to 20% upon the inclusion of the investment plan, which will be attributed at each stage of certification of the physical and economic object, depending on the export target to which the company will be committed.

The maximum duration of completion of the physical and economic object of the plan cannot exceed twenty-four (24) months, from the date of issuance of the Inclusion Decision.

Applications for funding will be submitted only electronically without the submission of a physical file of supporting documents through the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (OPSKE).

The deadline and method of submission, the required supporting documents, the obligations of the beneficiaries as well as the other implementation conditions will be described in the Detailed Call for Action.

The Action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Greek State.
