The Environmental Committee of the South Aegean Region also decided in favor of approving the Environmental Impact Study.
- The General Directorate of Environmental Policy of the Ministry of Environment and Energy has approved the Environmental Terms for the operation of the main 4-star hotel MYRINA BEACH, with a capacity of 548 beds and 274 rooms, of the company XTEE E. PETRONIATI SA, subject to conditions. The hotel is located on a total area of ??28,607 sq.m., which is partly within the Natura 2000 network, at the location of Kolymbia of Afantou in Rhodes.
- The building department of the municipality of Kos has granted a permit for small-scale construction works for the installation of a swimming pool within the 4-star hotel LAMBI RESORT located in Lambi, Kos, owned by the company CHRISMA XTEE.
The building department of the municipality of Heraklion has granted a permit for repair works of plastering and painting using scaffolding on the north side of the LATO hotel in Heraklion, Crete, owned by the company KATARAKIS HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS S.A. - The building department of the municipality of Eastern Samos has granted a permit for small-scale building works related to the change of use of a hotel to rental housing in the Katsouni district of Samos, owned 50% by Georgia Tsakalofa and 50% by Eleni Tsakalofa.
- The General Directorate of Spatial Planning, Environmental and Agricultural Policy of the Decentralized Administration of Thessaly-Central Greece approved the environmental conditions and restrictions for the installation and operation of the 4-star hotel unit, with a capacity of 68 beds, at the location of Bitou Plaka, Kastraki, Meteora, on behalf of the company DESIRIA S.A.
