The Municipal Committee of the Municipality of Thermaikos has drawn up the terms for a public, open and oral auction for a long-term lease for the renovation of the Multi-purpose refreshment center on a part of a plot of land and the building complex on it, located in the coastal area of ??Perea.
The main goal of the Municipality is to select a suitable tenant, who will lease the above facilities with the aim of renovating, upgrading, exploiting and utilizing them in the best possible way for the benefit of the Municipality of Thermaikos, its residents and itself.
In particular, the Municipality, fulfilling the expectations and wishes of the local community, defending local interests and utilizing municipal property, leases this property, in order to reopen either as a Recreation and Tourism Center, or as any other form of sports – cultural – educational enterprise and to become a pole of development and promotion of the area, while supporting the development program of the Municipality. The Municipality expects the Multi-purpose Hall – Refreshment Hall, following interventions that must be carried out, to fully operate as a tourist enterprise of any form, respecting the rules of the existing architectural design, so as to respond to the aesthetics of the surrounding area.
This is a complex of facilities on a field, with an area of ??7,040.50 sq m. which has a large frontage of approximately 250 m. on the beach line.
The total area of ??the 3 buildings of the property amounts to 246.68 sq.m. which have suffered extensive damage from vandalism in the facilities and require significant renovation work as stated in a Civil Engineering Study of the Special Advisor to the Mayor of Thermaikos, which concerns the determination of the rental value of the land with the buildings on it, subject to the reconstruction of the existing buildings and facilities by the lessee of the property, at an estimated cost of 280,000 euros which will be borne by the lessee. There are two parking spaces in the multi-purpose complex.
The minimum first limit for the annual rent is set at the amount of 36,000 euros per year, i.e. 3,000 euros per month.
