An investment plan by the company “Superior Padel Hellas IKE” was included in the “Entrepreneurship 360°” aid scheme of the development law 4887/2022, which concerns the establishment of a modern sports center with eight padel courts in Maroussi. The inclusion decision was signed by the General Directorate of Development Laws and Foreign Direct Investments of the Ministry of Development.
The investment, with a total eligible and subsidized cost of 923,976.67 euros, concerns a facility on Agios Gerasimos, Samos and Tymfristos streets, in the municipal unit of Maroussi. A grant of 184,795.33 euros is provided, within the framework of supporting expenses outside regional aid.
The project includes the creation of high-standard sports infrastructure for the development of padel – a sport that is experiencing rapid growth in the country – and is estimated to create 9.1 annual work units (AWU), including graduates of universities, technical institutes and vocational training institutes.
The investment is part of the first call of the “Entrepreneurship 360°” scheme, which aims to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises with an emphasis on innovation, sustainable development and the diversification of the business map of Attica.
