The building department of the municipality of Chios approved small-scale construction works for the repair of a hotel in Oinousses, Chios, owned by the company OINOUSSES PROPERTIES M.I.KE.
The Ephorate of Antiquities of Heraklion has conditionally approved the request of the company MEDITERRANEAN CITY HOTEL for internal arrangements and modification of the tourist accommodation with the aim of creating a 4-star hotel of the classic type, with a capacity of 99 beds, with reinforcement of the load-bearing structure, opening holes, adding a swimming pool on the roof, on Smyrnis 1 and Hatzimichali Giannari streets, within the declared archaeological site of the city of Heraklion. Among the conditions is that no additional construction will be placed on the facades of the building that would alter it, such as, for example, air ducts, air conditioners, solar water heaters, hanging elements, while the hotel’s sign should be non-overlapping, in accordance with the provisions of the current law.
The building department of the municipality of Nea Propontida granted a small-scale building permit for the construction of 4 compact swimming pools with a total area of ??31.92 sq m. and other works such as interior painting, repair and replacement of floors, minor ground modifications, paving of an uncovered area, etc., in a hotel building located in Hanioti, Kassandra, Halkidiki, owned by the company MADISON POINT HOTEL ENTERPRISES.
The building department of the municipality of Almyros granted a small-scale building permit for interior modifications on the ground floor of a hotel located in Almyros, owned by the company STYLIANIS GEORGIOU PAPANATSIOU SINGLE-PERSON LTD.
The General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage approved the study for the upgrade of a hotel facility into a 5-star hotel, structural reinforcement and renovation, with the addition of two swimming pools on the roof, on a property owned by the company UKG MONOPROSOPI S.A., which is located at the “Katevati” location, in the settlement of Istron and within the archaeological site of Kalo Chorio, in Agios Nikolaos, Lassithi, Crete, under conditions. Among other things, the conditions state that, in the event of the discovery of antiquities, the works will be suspended in order for the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lassithi to proceed with the actions within its competence.
