Brookfield and Domes Joint Venture to Expand Domes Zeen Chania Resort with €40 Million Investment

Domes and Brookfield, through one of its private real estate investment funds, announced the formation of a joint venture, under which Brookfield will acquire a majority stake in the Domes Zeen Chania hotel. Through this joint venture, Brookfield and Domes will proceed with the expansion of the resort, with an investment exceeding €40 million.

Domes Zeen Chania is a 105-key seaside resort, ideally located in Chania, one of the top destinations in Crete. It is part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection brand and has received numerous awards, including the World’s Leading Leisure Resort 2025 at the World Travel Awards.

Brookfield has significant experience in hospitality and long-stay sectors, having invested in and developed leading hospitality platforms across Europe, such as Center Parcs, edyn, Selenta Group, Experimental Group, and Generator Hostels.
