The newly established footpath network ‘Apollo Trails’ has enriched the tourist portfolio of the Peloponnese, as part of an effort to extend the tourist season and boost tourism in the region, ANA reports.
‘Apollo Trails’ will be the first network of footpaths that the Peloponnese Region will seek to integrate into the Trans-European Trail Networks, thus inaugurating a new strategic cycle in the alternative tourism sector. Its goal is to create a new economy, new growth, and boost villages that would otherwise be deserted.
