Minister speaks on the use of technology in Greek education

Greek Education Minister Niki Kerameus referred to the concerns of the education community – and not just those linked to the use of new technologies in education – during her speech at the 2nd European Education Conference held in Brussels, at the level of EU member-states, ANA reports.

Speaking on the topic “Fear of using information technology and artificial intelligence in the classroom,” the minister explained that a lot of people fear the introduction of new technologies into education since “it may distract students, have a negative impact on their communication skills and human interaction, and embroil them in an unreliable or even dangerous use of the Internet.”
