'Pupil's basket' with school supplies into effect in Greece from Wednesday

The “pupil’s basket” provides school supplies at reduced prices and is available as of Tuesday, August 28, along with inspections in the market, ANA reports.
Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos has asked firms to exhaust all margins for profit reduction and prices to be better than last year.
The fines for related violations have increased to 5 million euros following a legislative initiative by the Ministry of Development. The pupil’s basket includes among others: School bags, notebooks/pads (and notebook labels and covers), pencils, colored markers/crayons, pens, erasers, diabetes, rulers, and photocopy paper.
