The beaches of Ligaria and Agia Pelagia in the Municipality of Malevizi will be the impressive backdrop for the filming of the German Love Is Blind. The Heraklion Land Service approved the granting, directly and in exchange, of the right to simple use of parts of the common beach area, with a total area of ??1,466 sq m, at the specific locations.

The participants meet without having seen each other, seeking to create deep emotional relationships. When the time comes for the wedding, it will be proven whether love is truly “blind” or whether everyday life and external factors will overturn their expectations.
The German Love Is Blind has been renewed for a second season by Netflix, produced by Redseven Entertainment. The success of the first season confirmed that the German audience is embracing this unique experience, which has already been a huge success in the USA, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, and the UK.

Today, Love Is Blind has already been broadcast in eleven different versions, including in Brazil, France, Japan, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates, while new productions in Italy and France are in progress.
