Crete is once again at the epicenter of European swingers as in the first week of May, more than 300 participants from 50 different countries meet at the luxurious Cactus Royal Hotel in Stalis, Heraklion, in a lifestyle event that combines everything… vacations, fun, and acquaintances…
This is yet another event organized by the internationally renowned SDC (Swingers Date Club) in Crete, with the hotel’s owner Nikos Chalkiadakis, noting to Tornos News that it all started with a… beer in a bar abroad. When a Swingers Date Club executive’s beer “involved” (accidentally, of course) the president of the Heraklion hoteliers, Nikos Chalkiadakis met the agency executives and seized the opportunity to collaborate, making Crete known to the swingers community.
As Mr. Chalkiadakis explains, the financial benefit for the Greek hotel business from organizing this event is very significant. Whatever profit a customer leaves in a week at the hotel, a Swinger leaves in a day, he notes. At this point, it should be emphasized that the special tourist package that includes theme nights costs from 3240 euros per couple and reaches 7,199 euros, always according to the price list posted by the SDC.
It is recalled that this specific event has been held in the past with great success, always at Nikos Chalkiadakis’ hotel.
