With the Easter festive season just around the corner and the summer season to follow, Ithaca declares itself ready to welcome its visitors. As the mayor of the island, Dionysis Stanitsas, states in a post, the island has already begun to “come alive”, with the first pleasure boats arriving at the port and the local market operating normally.
Cafes, taverns, restaurants, and shops have opened their doors, offering traditional flavors and the authentic hospitality that characterizes the island of Odysseus. Tourist accommodations are also in full operation, ready to accommodate visitors who choose Ithaca for moments of relaxation and renewal.
The Municipality of Ithaca has undertaken extensive cleaning and beautification works on streets, beaches, and public areas, with the aim of providing a clean and attractive environment for both residents and visitors. At the same time, the island’s nature is at its most impressive, flooded with the colors and scents of spring.
“Ithaca awaits you for peaceful, quality holidays in a unique environment that combines tradition and natural beauty,” says Mr. Stanitsas.
