The Spanish TV show “Viajeros Cuatro” in Corfu

Yesterday, at the Historic Town Hall of Corfu, the Deputy Mayor for Sustainable Tourism Development and Public Relations, Spyros Halikiopoulos, welcomed the cast of the Spanish TV production “Viajeros Cuatro”, one of the most popular travel shows in Spain, which is broadcast on the national channel Cuatro, a member of the largest television group Mediaset Group.

The filming took place with a focus on the Old Town of Corfu, highlighting the unique architecture, historical sights, local gastronomy, and authentic everyday life of the island.

The show also traveled to places of high interest, such as Mon Repos, Paleokastritsa, the Vlacherina Monastery, and areas of particular natural beauty.

The Deputy Mayor presented to the show’s journalist, Marina Romero, the comparative advantages of Corfu as a tourist destination, highlighting the island’s mix of culture, history, and civilization. As he stated:

“We are particularly happy about the growing trend of the Spanish market in Corfu. The Spanish are an extroverted people, with a strong temperament, which fits perfectly with ours – we share common values, love for life, culture, and tradition.”

Finally, the Deputy Mayor thanked the members of the television production who chose Corfu as the destination for their show and stated that the projection through major television networks enhances the potential of Corfu as an attractive, authentic, and quality destination.
