The 7th Prespa Off Road Trip, the annual experiential tourism route that has become an institution for Northern Greece, returns this year from July 4 to 6, 2025, with an enriched program and a strong cross-border dimension.
More than a simple excursion, the organization offers a unique experience combining culture, history, nature, and human narratives. The route starts from Thessaloniki and ends in the magnificent Prespa, giving participants the opportunity to get to know the geographical and cultural heart of the Balkans through a multi-thematic “road legend”.
The participation of missions from Albania, North Macedonia and other countries in the region stands out, promoting cross-border cooperation – a topic that was also the central axis of the recent conference of the Hellenic Association of Tourist Organizations (E.O.E.S.). in Thessaloniki.

During the route, the event’s radio signal accompanies the drivers with stories and documents from the author Giorgos Stamkos and the coordinator Stratos Vassilopoulos, highlighting myths, people, and events from the areas they cross.
The program includes stops at historical and natural sites such as the underground hospital of the DSE, the hermitages of Mikri Prespa and Agios Achilleios, while the possibility of outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, paragliding) is also given.
The Prespa Off Road Trip is aimed at everyone, regardless of vehicle type, with the aim of meaningful contact with the place, memory and future of the wider Prespa region. A journey of the soul, with a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes and cultures that meet at the crossroads of borders.
