Retro routes in Samos: The Tour de Samos Antique Rally returns for the 5th year

From June 6 to 8, Samos is planning to host for the fifth time the unique Historic Car Race “Tour de Samos”, an event of precision rather than speed, aimed at lovers of classic motoring and cultural tours.

The race, which takes place over two days and covers approximately 200 kilometers, is held on regular traffic roads, with absolute respect for the Highway Code and without requiring special traffic measures. It is a gentle form of racing activity, which emphasizes precision rather than speed, attracting crews with historic cars from other decades — vehicles that carry memories, stories, and character.

Participants have the opportunity to cross the island from one end to the other: from breathtaking mountain landscapes to coastal routes and villages with a strong architectural and historical imprint. The special routes pass in front of points of cultural interest, thus connecting the racing experience with the knowledge of the place.

The event is under the auspices of the Municipality of Samos and is held in accordance with the FIA ??International Racing Code, with the approval of the OMAE Motor Racing Committee. At the same time, it offers significant visibility for the island: the Municipality logo appears on materials such as posters and the road book, while photos and videos of the event will highlight the unique landscapes of Samos through the official communication channels of the clubs.

Beyond its competitive value, the special action “Tour de Samos” constitutes a dynamic tourist gateway: it brings visitors from every corner of the country, contributing to the strengthening of the local economy and introducing Samos as a destination that combines the charm of yesterday with the authenticity of today. An island with rare natural beauty, a strong cultural stigma, and hospitality that wins at first sight.
