The Municipality of Glyfada will hold an international open tender to cover overnight accommodation and transport services for KAPI members, with a budgeted cost of 338,841.80 euros.
The award criterion for the contract is the most economically advantageous offer based on a series of data that, among other things, concern the distance in kilometers from a hospital or health center, the condition of the hotel and access to a beach.
For valid participation in the contract award process, participating economic operators must submit a participation guarantee of 2% of the estimated value excluding VAT, i.e. an amount of 5,997.20 euros. The candidate contractor must have an average turnover of the last three management years (2022, 2023 and 2024) equal to or greater than 100% of the budget of the service under assignment excluding VAT. In the event that the candidate Contractor has been active for a period of less than three management years, then the average turnover for all management years in which he has been active must be equal to or greater than 100% of the Project budget excluding VAT. In the case of a Union of Companies – Consortium, this minimum requirement may be met cumulatively by all members of the Union – Consortium.
The contractor is obliged to provide at least eight 50-52 seat buses of the last eight years (Year of construction of the buses from 2014 and later (2014 is also counted) with Euro 5 or Euro 6 engine technology. The tourist buses under lease will be in excellent condition in terms of technical, cleanliness and travel comfort, will meet the specifications of the Ministry of Transport (KTEO) and the Tourist Service and will be insured with at least the minimum insurance amount.
The hotels will be Five Star, seaside with air conditioning. The hotels will be close to archaeological and historical sites and to Hospitals or Health Centers. The hotels are obliged to have a doctor, whose expenses in case of illness of KAPI members will be borne by the contractor. The hotels are also obliged to describe the menu in detail all inclusive (breakfast: full continental – lunch: coffee-tea, cookies – lunch: at least 2 main dishes, 2 types of salads, 2 desserts, 3 fruits – afternoon: coffee-tea, dessert – dinner: choice of 2 main dishes, 2 types of salads, 2 desserts, 3 fruits).
