The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family with the supervised Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity Organization (OPEKA) informs that on Thursday 4/9/2025 at 12:00, the redistribution of unused social, spa tourism – excursion and theater programs will begin.
The redistribution will be carried out in order of priority of arrival at the KEP and until the tickets are exhausted.
Beneficiaries in the redistribution of unused tickets for the social, spa tourism – excursions and theater programs are:
All those who were drawn and did not receive their tickets by 30/8/2025
All those who submitted an application for participation in the above programs and were not drawn
Beneficiaries should be aware that for the Social – Spa Tourism and Excursion Tourism programs, the necessary conditions are:
the order of preference and
the first choice in the application for participation
Indicatively: In case a beneficiary had chosen the Social Tourism program as his first choice, but was drawn in the Excursion Tourism program and has not printed his ticket by 30/8/2025, he is allowed to participate in the Social Tourism program in order of priority.
In the event that a beneficiary had chosen the Spa Tourism program as their first choice and was not drawn into any tourist program or was drawn into the Spa, Social or Excursion tourism program and has not printed their ticket by 30/8/2025, they will participate in order only in the Spa Tourism program.
However, if a beneficiary declared the Excursion program as their first preference in the participation application and was drawn into it (regardless of whether they have printed their ticket or not), they cannot participate in order of priority in any other program other than that of the Excursion program.
For the free theater ticket program, the order of preference in the participation application does not affect participation in the redistribution in order of priority.
Thus, all those who submitted an application to participate in the program, including those who were drawn and did not receive their tickets by 30/8/2025, can participate.
Receipt of Social-Spa Tourism Tickets
In order for beneficiaries to receive the unused Social-Spa tourism tickets, they must take the following actions:
Book a room in a tourist accommodation from the list of contracted tourist accommodation posted on the OPEKA website, from which they are requested to send them confirmation of the reservation (e.g. voucher).
From 4/09/2025 and from 12:00 onwards, enter information related to the room reservation (name of accommodation, period of stay) in the relevant electronic application, which is available on the https://opeka.gr/ website by the beneficiaries themselves or through KEP.
After registering the room reservation in the OPEKA electronic application, beneficiaries must come to the KEP on the same day (after at least 30 minutes from registration) to receive their tickets. Otherwise, beneficiaries will lose their tickets, which will be available again.
Beneficiaries receive tickets that include the details of the tourist accommodation where the reservation was made. The tickets are only valid for accommodations whose details are pre-printed.
Tickets that do not have the company details pre-printed when printed by the KEP are considered INVALID.
Also, the tickets are strictly personal and may not be used by other persons, even if they are members of the beneficiary’s family.
For the free theater ticket program, the order of preference in the participation application does not affect participation in the redistribution in order of priority.
Therefore, all beneficiaries who submitted an application to participate in the program can participate, including those who were drawn and did not receive their tickets by 30/8/2025.
