Since 2017, the Prespa Off Road Trip has been guiding us into the magic of Northern Greece. This year’s event will take place on 26–28 September 2025, with a route starting from Thessaloniki and other parts of the country, leading to the fairy-tale land of Prespa, along the paths of History, Culture, and Nature.
Throughout the journey, participants tune their radios to the event’s transmitter and listen to the narrations of author and researcher Giorgos Stamkos and coordinator Stratos Vasilopoulos. Legends, secrets, and memories unfold, transforming the trip into a soulful experience.
For the more daring, alternative routes lead deep into dense beech forests and alpine meadows, where earth meets sky at 2,300 meters. And for those who wish to fly even higher, paragliding offers new horizons, alongside pelicans gliding effortlessly over the lakes.
The Prespa Off Road weekend is not just an excursion — it is a ritual, a tradition, history, and a celebration. From local flavors and brass-band festivities to wanderings along ancient paths, the Prespa Off Road is a truly unique experience.

The route is 90% asphalt, suitable for any car, and open to couples, families, friends, and groups. Four-wheel drive or special equipment is not required.
