Greece took pride of place at the leading awards ceremony for the best spa hotels of the year, the World Spa Awards 2025, with 6 Greek hotels achieving global, European and national peaks for the spa facilities and services they offer.
After a year of great global participation, the program of the sister event of the globally recognized World Travel Awards, honored the best spa and wellness brands in the world, recognizing excellence and innovation in a wide range of experiences – from hotel and resort spas to wellness centers and specialized brands.
Three Greek hotels won top global spa awards. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino was named the best Resort Spa in the world – and in Europe – for 2025, winning the title of “World’s Best Resort Spa 2025”.
Guerlain Spa at One&Only Aesthesis was also named the best City Resort Spa in the world (“World’s Best City Resort Spa 2025”) and One&Only Spa K?a Island was named the best new Resort Spa in the world, winning the title of “World’s Best New Resort Spa 2025”.

The coveted title of the best hotel spa in the world was awarded to Chenot Espace at One&Only Portonovi in ??Montenegro. Palazzo Fiuggi in Italy retained its crown as the best Wellness Retreat in the world, while WORLD SPA in New York City was named the best Day Spa of the Year for 2025.
Reflecting the growing global interest in wellness with a focus on longevity and the increased demand for programs that enhance vitality and overall well-being, the World Spa Awards introduced a brand new category this year: “World’s Best Longevity Program.” This award recognizes outstanding innovation in the design of personalized, scientifically-based wellness experiences that aim to promote a longer, healthier life. The title was awarded to Advanced Longevity at SHA Mexico, a program renowned for its innovative approach to longevity, combining expert-led treatments, nutrition and lifestyle guidance.
