The Municipality of Istiea-Edipsos announced an open oral bidding auction for the lease of municipal land in the central square of Istiea, for the installation and operation of a non-permanent ice rink – a collapsible hut.
The lease of the municipal land of 218 sq.m. will be for a period of 20 days according to the operating permit that will be issued, with 5 days for the installation and 5 days for the removal of the ice rink.
The auction will be held at the Municipal Office of the Municipality of Istiea-Edipsos, in Istiea, before the competent Auction Committee on Monday, November 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The auction may continue beyond the time specified in the announcement, provided that the bids continue without interruption and until their end. The committee decides to continue the auction beyond the specified time. In the event that the auction for any reason is unsuccessful, it will be repeated (after one week) on Monday, December 1, at the same place and time without requiring a new publication. Even if the second auction is unsuccessful, the lease may also be made by direct agreement.
The minimum first bid price for the lease of the area is 1,000 euros. In order for the bid to be accepted, it must exceed the minimum first bid limit, and bidding will be done in whole units of at least 50 euros. All natural and legal persons have the right to participate in the auction.
The Municipality will provide electricity and its liability is limited to the electricity consumption meter. All electrical installations will be carried out under the responsibility of the tenant and under the supervision of a licensed electrician. It is noted that the installation of the Ice Rink-disposable shelter will be equipped with its own distribution board, and the materials used for the electrical installation will be new and suitable for this use.
